We provides free Palliative and Medical Care within the Kannur Municipal Corporation. Registered in 2018, our services were inaugurated by officials and medical professionals, including Dr. Maya. Operating 24x7 from Talap, we're affiliated with the Palliative Initiative in Kannur (PIK), offering personalized healthcare to registered families and individuals. Our dedicated team aims to reduce hospital visits and expenses, ensuring quality care and promoting human well-being without the need for hospital visits.
Management Of The Society
The Society is managed by the executive committee which is elected from Class A/ B members of the society in the election held every three years .The society derived its funds from the donation received from A/B class members, registered members and the donation from the general public.The Society have also Patrons from various strata of society to advice in its function .The donation to the society is exempted under 80 G/B of the IT Act 1961 .The accounts is audited by M/S Jacob & George, Chartered Accountants, Kannur.The society functions in a most transparent and accountable manner .
Aims And Objectives Of LLCS
- To start Trauma Care centres, Palliative Care Centres, Health Care Centres,Aids controll programmes and connected activities to the benefit of the poor.
- To provide Ambulance facilities to the needy.
- To conduct Medical Camps & Blood donation Camps to prevent life- style diseases and early detection of chronic diseases.
- To run orphanages and old age homes.
- To provide care, food, accommodation and dress along with treatment to the needy.
- To establish counselling and de- addiction centres to fight alcoholism and drug addiction and prevention of suicides.
- To promote organic farming and Water Coservation .
- Enviornmental protection and scientific waste disposal.
- To raise , collect and manage funds by way of donation , gift and by subscription or by other means.
- To promote healthy and hygenic food culture and limit the use of plastics.

- Home services such as wound care & dressing, injections, Ryles tube fixing, Catheter care, blood sugar & blood pressure testing .
- Counselling Centre for patients and their relatives, students & parents , Pre- marital counselling and counselling for improvement of mental health to all.
- Supply of medicine, food and clothes to the poor patients.
- Supply of freezer, tables chairs and sheets to the needy
- Conducting Medical camps and follow up activities.
- Health awareness classes.
- Conducting yoga and meditation camps.
- Medical lab tests ,ECG & Oxygen level check up.
- Blood donation camps.
- Regular home visits by specialised Doctors provide both physical and emotional support to patients as well as their famalies.
